New Parents’ Updated Bathroom

Yesterday we were delighted to share the details of a recently completed master bathroom renovation for a young family that is expecting a new baby. There was dead space, the layout didn’t function, and the style was completely outdated.

Today, we’re sharing with you some additional details from that project – specifically an updated main floor bathroom for company that might stop by after the arrival of their new little one.

As you can see from this BEFORE photo, the bathroom was reminiscent of the 80s with pink “tile” and peeling wallpaper:

The outdated vanity, up against your knees, was also completely unappealing to our Dreamers:

American Dreamers Renovations was able to improve this space by expanding and reconfiguring the bathroom footprint. As you might recall from yesterday, the home’s original layout incorporated a “weird, dark hallway” in the master suite that happened to be behind and to the side of this bathroom. With that hallway gone (i.e., not taking up empty space!) American Dreamers Renovations was able to move the position of the bathroom vanity to the left of the toilet – significantly opening up the flow and use of the bathroom:

The renovation was complete with modern paint colors and accents:

Not only is this space now more functional and modern, but it’s all ready with weeks to spare for baby’s arrival. We couldn’t be more thrilled for our Dreamers. This was an exciting project to be a part of.
