C is for Construction

Morgan was honored to be a special guest during the Kindergarten Readiness Program at Peters Township Library, where she had the opportunity to teach 4 and 5 year olds about construction.  This was the perfect start for Careers in Construction Month!

“C is for Construction” was the theme for the day, as they make their way through the alphabet over the course of the program.  The kids had fun decorating their own construction hats.  They listened intently while Morgan read her first book, Morgan Wants to Build.   They loved looking at the blueprints and seeing pictures of all the different rooms that Morgan has remodeled with her company, American Dreamers Renovations.  Their favorite project was the bright blue house with the slide.

The best part was when they got to hold different tools and use the power driver to drive nails into a board.  It was so impressive to see them confidently using the tools at such a young age.  American Dreamers Renovations certainly welcomes all of these future builders someday!   It was so special to be a part of igniting their curiosity about construction.
