6Celebrate Careers in Construction Day with Morgan Kumpfmiller! 

Join us at the South Park Library on October 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm for a hands-on celebration featuring a special book reading, a chance to explore real power tools, a Q&A session with the author, and a fun hard hat decorating craft!

This interactive event is perfect for curious kids and future builders.

During the program, Morgan will read her debut book, Morgan Wants to Build, and answer questions from the kids. She’ll share blueprints and photos of homes she’s renovated, offering insights into the tools, machines, and processes she uses on the job. Kids will also get hands-on experience with real tools, take home fun coloring sheets, and decorate their very own construction hats!

While the book is geared toward ages 3–9, everyone is welcome. Morgan is excited to chat with older kids about career paths in construction and answer any questions they may have about working in the trades.
